Haibu is a way for students to use their phones in a lecture environment. With Haibu on their mobile device, they are able to access extra material related to the lecture, such as references, links and trivia.
Students can ask the lecturer their questions and upvote other students' questions. They can share bookmarks relevant to the lecture with other students, and submit their own references and thoughts. All interactions happen in a controlled and productive environment.
Content from the lecture stays in the cloud and is available through the students' devices. Everything published by both the teachers and the students is saved onto the original presentation. Questions, answers as well as bookmarks and references added during the class, can be accessed later.
